Selected for FinTech Innovation Lab Asia-Pacific

Sybenetix has been chosen by leading financial institutions to participate in Accenture’s 2015 FinTech Innovation Lab Asia-Pacific, based in Hong Kong’s Cyberport.

One of seven successful applicants from around the world, Sybenetix is the only behavioural analytics and London-based FinTech company participating in the scheme designed to nurture new technologies for the financial services sector with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific region.

“The Asia Pacific investment industry enjoys a growing investor base and rapid development of new market opportunities”, said Taras Chaban, CEO of Sybenetix.  “Our participation in the Lab is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively with leading financial and regulatory institutions.  It will enable us to build on our initial work in the region to help improve investment performance and conduct management.”

Participating financial institutions will provide senior-level access and support and  include Bank of America Merrill Lynch, China Construction Bank (Asia), China Citic Bank International, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, J.P. Morgan, Maybank, Morgan Stanley, Standard Chartered and UBS.

Sybenetix’s inclusion in the Innovation Lab follows recent visits to Hong Kong with the FinTech 50 and UKTI trade missions where the company met with financial institutions, policy officials, regulators and potential investors to explore Hong Kong as a potential regional hub.  

During the 12 weeks Lab programme the company will work with executives from financial services firms through a series of panel discussions, workshops, one-to-one coaching and networking opportunities. At the end of the program Sybenetix will be given an opportunity to present their concepts to potential investors and financial industry executives.
